Mindful Minis: Social Emotional Learning for Little Ones

Bloom From the Inside Out is a heart-centered, mindfulness-based class that uses the gentle metaphor of a blooming flower to support young children’s social-emotional growth. Through playful breath work, mindful movement that mirrors a seed’s journey to bloom, and creative activities like the Feelings Flower Mirror, children will explore self-awareness and emotional expression alongside their parent or caregiver.

This class is designed to plant the seeds of mindfulness and emotional development in early childhood—nurturing each child’s inner world so they can grow with confidence, connection, and calm.

Goals & Benefits:
- Support foundational social-emotional skills in a developmentally appropriate way
- Strengthen the bond between child and caregiver through co-regulation activities
- Introduce mindfulness practices (breathing, body awareness, emotion recognition)
- Promote confidence, communication, and emotional vocabulary

Additional Support for Families:
Each participating parent/caregiver will also receive a take-home guide with simple, engaging ways to continue practicing self-awareness and mindfulness at home.

Focus: Self-Awareness & Mindfulness
Presented by: Ms. Lucy – Credentialed School Counselor & SEL Advocate
Target Age Group: Children ages 2–5
Format: Parent/Caregiver Participation Required
Class Fee: $20 per child
